The gift boxes were designed by Ko's sister, Kay. Thai guests would
write congratulatory notes and put some money in the invitation envelopes
and put the envelopes in these boxes.

The first of the two guests of honour gave his speech. After the speech,
the guest of honour asked all the guests to stand up and toast the
bride and groom. All the guests would end the toast by saying
CHAI-YO (Cheers) 3 times.
