In a very short span of time Atrium has had the opportunity to work

Thailand's Council of State is responsible for storing, indexing,
searching, and managing the collection of all the laws in Thailand. We provide a solution for the agency to organize, index, search, and
internet/intranet-publish their multi-gigabyte database containing
both text and images. The public can also access the published
information via the Council of State's web site.
The solution
consists of an InterSearch server connected to an Oracle Database with custom client and HTML programming. Atrium also provides the Council
with custom programming for their internal applications which include
the Law Council module, the Petition Council module, the personnel
management module, the acquisition and asset management module,
the library module, and the budget management module. |

The information is in many forms<97>charts, text,

all the various forms. Data is stored in various types of databases.
We provide a uniform connector to the data to simplify data management
and access. Authorized internal users can query the systems via
their intranet. |

FTI uses our
InterSearch solution to manage their minutes of meeting. The minutes
were kept in MS Word format. FTI uses InterSearch to import and
index these documents so that users can perform full-text search
and field search in the minutes archive.
Atrium also provides FTI
with the press clipping application for its Public Relation department.
This application handles daily news input and Internet posting. FTI
utilizes InterWeb search engine solution so that these news postings
are full-text-searchable by the public over the Internet. |

NFC keeps all images
of its documents in electronic form. The problems are that
it gets harder and harder to locate the needed documents and that the
storage space keeps running out.
To solve the problems,
Atrium performed batch-OCR to convert existing images into rich
text documents and import them into InterSearch. InterSearch server then
indexed the imported documents, enabling users to perform full-text
search on the existing documents. Since rich text
documents need much smaller storage space than images, NFC does not have
to worry about finding more storage space so frequently. |
